Wishbind Privacy Policy

2. Content stored locally

Wishbind stores only in local app storage:

• wish or spell text and optional description,
• sigil seed, original and current side, creation time, progress, level and position,
• language, colour scheme and mute setting,
• the photo selected for the sigil.

This content is not transmitted to us. You can delete sigils and their stored photos in the app. Uninstalling generally removes local data. Apple or Google backups may include and later restore it depending on your settings.

3. Photos, camera and biometrics

• Camera and library: Access occurs only after your selection and system permission. Images are processed locally.
• Biometrics: Fingerprint or facial data is checked only by the operating system. Wishbind receives the result, not biometric characteristics.
• Audio: Wishbind plays bundled sounds but records no audio and requests no microphone permission.

Permissions can be withdrawn at any time in system settings.

4. Google Mobile Ads and consent

Wishbind uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Depending on your choices and available advertising, Google may process IP address, device and advertising identifiers, approximate location, diagnostics and ad interactions.

Where required, Wishbind requests consent through UMP. Ads are not requested while consent status is missing or unresolved. Where available for your region, revisit the choice through “Info & privacy.” Read the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s partner-app information.

5. No accounts or proprietary uploads

Wishbind offers no registration, maintains no user accounts and currently uses no proprietary backend to store app content. Wishes and photos are not sent to us for analytics or automated decision-making.

6. Accessing this website

The web server processes technically necessary connection data such as IP address, time, requested file and browser identifier to deliver the page and detect attacks. This page loads no advertising and no analytics.

7. Retention

Local content remains until you delete it, clear app data or uninstall Wishbind. Backups follow the operating-system provider’s settings. Google retains advertising and consent data under its policies. Server logs are retained only as needed for operation and security.

8. Your rights

Where applicable, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Because local content is not transmitted to us, we cannot inspect or erase it on a server; you manage it directly on your device.

9. Changes

We update this policy when features, services or legal requirements change. The current version remains available at this address.
